What motivates you?
Years ago, I asked myself the question, “What would motivate me to do what I need to do?” I remember asking myself that question a LOT. At the time, I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t find the motivation to take the next step. I didn’t have that fire in me.
Since then, I have learned that there is ONE THING that motivates time and time again, and that is your WHY. Why do you want what you want? If your why isn’t big enough, you just don’t do everything you need to do to achieve it. You just DON’T. As Les Brown says, “You’ve got to be HUNGRY!” and he is right. Read more…

This morning, I awoke early, and lay in bed as the sun brightened in the sky, just listening to the birds chirping, greeting the day. I decided it was much too lovely to stay in bed, so I quietly got up, and with journal in hand, tiptoed out of the bedroom wrapped in my soft, fluffy bathrobe, made myself some coffee, and sat on the couch, sipping coffee, pen poised above the paper before me. Authenticity
As my life evolves, I realize that the more I work towards my heart’s desire, the better my life becomes. I believe this is a result of living from my authentic self…. the part of me that is connected to all that is; the part of me that is eternal; the part of me that knows why I was born and what unique gift I have to share with the world. NOT sharing myself with the world is actually selfish – there are people who need to hear what I have to say…. and so, I move more and more into full authenticity so that I can be the person to deliver the message that only I can deliver. Opportunity Knocks
I continue to maintain healthy blood sugar levels and I have ostensibly cut one of my medication doses in half. This is GREAT news. No more on the weight loss side, but I am sure part of that is that I need to exercise more… and that’s coming too. A friend is starting a Chi Gung studio and I am going to be practicing some martial arts stuff. THAT will help!
