If you can’t let go, you can’t move on
Today is a letting-go day.

Today is the last day that Comic Zone will be open. As I sit here in the back of the store, updating my blog, I am struck with the fact that our store is full of customers today! It’s really gratifying to go out with such a bang!
I could be sad. I HAVE been sad. But that was months ago. Now I just feel ready to let go, and excited about the future. Read more…
Seeing
When I was 10 years old, I had the standard annual eye test at school. They sent a note home to my parents that I needed my eyes checked by an eye doctor. Sure enough, when I went to see the eye doctor, it was discovered that I needed corrective lenses, and I got my first pair of glasses. I still remember looking at the world through those lenses and realizing how very much I had been missing. There were actually individual leaves on the trees, and the shingles on the houses had lines in between them! It was amazing, miraculous, and I couldn’t stop looking at the brand new world all around me! Read more…
Faith
There are times in life when you are not really sure where you are going or what will happen next. These are times when it is important to have FAITH that it will all work out for your highest good. Read more…
Sunny Days and Challenges
It’s a beautiful spring day in Scottsdale, Arizona. Warm and sunny, but not too hot, the temperature is a lovely dry 76 degrees. There is a slight breeze, and birds are singing here in my backyard. It is times like this that I am very grateful to be living in this part of the country.
On this day, fifteen years ago, I was getting ready to leave for my trek across country from New England, and the forecast was for snow! Sure enough, the next day I left New England in a blizzard! Imagine my surprise when I finally arrived in Scottsdale, AZ from Waltham, MA about ten days later (after a few stops and detours) and I needed air conditioning in my car! But the snow wasn’t really all that bad in Boston, and neither was the cold. I never really minded it when I lived there. I loved the changing of the seasons there as much as I do now. In Phoenix, the changes are more subtle, less dramatic than New England, but they are there nonetheless. The important thing to remember is that, in my heart, Phoenix isn’t necessarily better or worse than Boston. It’s just different. And I can appreciate the gifts of both places. Read more…

Springing ahead
Today is the first full day of Spring.
Spring to me always means new growth – it’s the time when we plant our seeds, our new thoughts, for the harvest we will receive in the fall. Now is the time to begin creating anew.
I am right in alignment with the seasons as I start a few new ventures in my own life. I am not going into details at this time. I just want to continue to plant my seeds, and when the new shoots start showing their bright green heads, I will fill you in on more. Let’s just say that I am as excited and as full of energy as the new spring growth I see in the world around me.
I am also watching as my two sons venture into new arenas, planting their own seeds. No matter what else I do with my life, I am their mother, and I can tell you, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing your children doing well as they grow into adulthood. My older son is establishing his own business as a graphic artist, as well as taking commissions on some other art projects. I love that! My younger son is working really hard – doing what it takes – to be a real estate investor. He is studying, finding properties, exploring possibilities, and going forward with his plans. I love that, at 23, he HAS a plan!!! How many people out there don’t?
Spring comes with so much energy bursting forth. What a great time to take advantage of that energy.
What seeds will YOU be planting?
March enters like a Lion
It’s been a roaringly eventful week in my life.
Last weekend, I spent three days at the PSI Basic Seminar. It was an amazing opportunity to get rid of those last ghosts from the past that I just wasn’t able to shake on my own. I highly recommend this to anyone who is still being influenced by the past. It’s time to move on.
In a perfect combination that only the Universe could arrange, I had also signed up to take Call to Action again with Michael Bernoff. It was the PERFECT way to start the week. I jumped into the week with gusto and enthusiasm. Read more…
Holistic Balance
Being holistic means focusing on ALL areas of our lives; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Let me describe how I keep myself more or less balanced in the four areas.
Spiritual has never been a problem for me. I was spiritual all of my life. I always found the divine in nature – in the color of the sky at sunset, in the rustling leaves, in the beauty of flowers, in the song of birds, and the furry critters that scamper about. I have a deep love for our planet and that love flows out of me into all areas of my life. Read more…
Cruisin’ along
My partner and I just got back from a most excellent cruise through the Caribbean Sea.
The cruise was amazing! All of the people on the cruise were members or guests of the Global Information Network, so it was one big ship of 2400 like-minded people; people who care about themselves, their well-being, the well-being of the planet, and success. There is NOTHING like it! Everyone we talked with, friend and stranger alike, had something in common with us. Read more…
