Choices

October 28, 2008

Tonight I had the opportunity to attend three different events.

The first event was a Cash Flow Game. For those who don’t know, the Cash Flow Game was created by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. Some people have described it as Monopoly on steroids. I describe it as a great way to learn about how we can build prosperity by taking necessary risks. The object of the game is to first get out of the rat race (Sound familiar???), and once out, to find and live your dream. I am fortunate enough to play Cash Flow every other week or so, and would invite anyone interested in playing to leave me a comment and I will give you all the details.

The second event was a workshop on Money. The woman presenting it is also a coach – we hadn’t yet met – only talked on the phone through a real estate ad I had placed in the New Visions Spiritual Growth Center’s directory. But, I suspect we have a lot in common, and I am looking forward to the time when we actually get to sit down and talk face to face.

The third event was to attend a sweat lodge sponsored by the Deer Tribe. The sweat was in honor of the new moon, as a time to set the focus and direction of the next four weeks until the next new moon. Tonight the broader focus was on the element of water, and allowing flow in one’s life.

I had to decide. I saw benefits in each one and took time to look at each one closely to make my choice. In the long run, though, it wasn’t my assessment of the known benefits that gave me my choice. It was listening to my heart, and hearing which one called me the strongest.

Can you guess which one I attended?

It was the sweat lodge, and it was an incredible experience, and absolutely the right choice for me tonight.

Synchronistically, I connected with someone who is doing a prosperity workshop on Nov 21st and 22nd. His takes the form of a puja. Again, if you want more details, let me know and I will send you information on this. He told me that the first time he did this puja, he could feel all of his limiting beliefs for prosperity just melting away and leaving his field of consciousness. Now that feels like powerful stuff!

To me, WHOLISTIC prosperity is paying attention to the stirrings of our hearts, and following through. Sometimes what seems the most logical is not necessarily what we NEED.

Tonight, in many many ways, I got what I needed.
