Energy flows where Attention goes.
The TWELFTH Law of Success is CONCENTRATION.
In our modern society, we are bombarded with distractions from every which way.
However, the ONLY way you will achieve your goals is by focusing the mind on a given desire until ways and means for its realization have been worked out and successfully put into operation.
Have you heard, Energy flows where attention goes?
Concentration is KEY to success.
Sometimes we need to do exercises to strengthen our concentration.I highly recommend a book called Concentration, an Approach to Meditation, by Ernest Wood. I first read it in 1974! Still has great exercises that can hone focus.
Who do you listen to?
The ELEVENTH Law of Success is ACCURATE THINKING.
This one is SO important. You MUST separate facts from mere information, and then ask yourself the following two questions: “Are these facts IMPORTANT to know?” and “Are they RELEVANT?”
How do you know?
All facts which you can use in the attainment of your Definite Chief Aim are important and relevant.
The accurate thinker doesn’t believe anything s/he hears, but spends time in careful, thoughtful analysis and due diligence.
Accurate thinking leads to a deeper connection with Infinite Intelligence. Once you establish that connection, you can learn to trust it, and your decisions become clearer.
Pleased to Meet You!
The TENTH Law of Success is A PLEASING PERSONALITY.
Personality is the whole of your characteristics and appearance, your actions, expressions and character. It is inward as well as outward. This means it is your thoughts AND your actions.
Do you take a genuine interest in others, and use YOU more than I in your conversations? Do you get them talking about themselves? Do you ask a lot of questions?
A firm handshake, a warm smile, a neat appearance go a long way to establishing rapport.
How to Keep ’em Coming Back for More
The NINTH Law of Success is The Habit of Doing More than Paid For.
This one is based upon the Law of Increasing Returns, which says that anything you give comes back in increasing amounts. Delivering more value than your clients and customers expect is the SURE way to keep them coming back AND referring others.
You can never become a Leader without doing more than you are paid for, and you cannot become successful without developing leadership in your chosen occupation.
This is EASIEST when you are doing what you love. When you love what you are doing, you don’t mind going the extra mile. It’s never a bother or an obligation or a chore. It’s simply shining in the way you shine best.
Find your own magic and offer it to the world. Before long, the world will come flocking to you for more.
Directing the Flow
The EIGHTH Law of Success is SELF-CONTROL. Enthusiasm arouses action; self-control directs that action.
When you lose control, you lose power – you are giving it away to the situation. You must maintain your personal power and direct your actions in a constructive way, or your energy is dissipated. Think of water. Without a container, it flows wherever it can. With a container, you can direct the flow. It’s the same with our enthusiasm and self-control. Self-control directs the flow of enthusiasm to your chosen aims.
Thought control is key to self-control. Program yourself with positive, constructive thoughts that harmonize with your Definite Chief Aim. Listen to success-oriented audios, read inspiring books, hang out with like-minded, upbeat, positive people.
It’s all about ENERGY
The SEVENTH Law of Success is ENTHUSIASM.
Enthusiasm is a state of mind that inspires and arouses one to put action into the task at hand. Enthusiasm is a vital force that is contagious. People naturally want what you have.
Are you enthusiastic about the products/services you are offering? If not, you either need to remind yourself of all of the benefits and value that you can deliver to others, or find yourself a new product or service to offer.
When we visit a great restaurant or read an awesome book, it’s nothing to tell people we know. THAT’S the kind of energy you need to have when you are telling people about this great deal you have. People are attracted to that kind of energy.
Go out and take the world by storm!
Imagine!
The SIXTH Law of Success is on IMAGINATION!

Most people have heard the expression, “It takes money to make money,” but what it REALLY takes is CREATIVITY. Using Imagination, we can rearrange old ideas into new combinations, and create something different. OR we can be open to insights directly from Universal Intelligence.
According to Maxwell Maltz, author of Psycho-Cybernetics, the following experiment was done. Junior high basketball players are separated into three teams and asked to shoot free throws, with each individual’s accuracy recorded. One of the teams practiced shooting free throws every day, while another didn’t practice shooting at all. The players on the third team sat on a bench and imagined themselves shooting free throws. When the teams were tested in free throw shooting at the end of the experiment, the team that practiced every day showed the most improvement while the team that never practiced didn’t improve at all. The third team, which never touched a basketball, improved by nearly as much as the team that practiced every day.
That’s the power of imagination!
Are you using your IMAGINATION in your business? Are you imagining your desired outcomes? When would now be a good time to start?
Just Do It!
The FIFTH Law of Success is Initiative and Leadership. And THAT is, Doing what needs to be done without being told to do it. A Leader takes ACTION and leads by example.
Here’s a great example of a leader inspiring others:
The Habit of Saving
The FOURTH Law of Success is the Habit of Saving! All successful people have a habit of saving money… usually they put away a certain percentage of their income. It’s important to make a commitment to save some amount of money on a regular basis. It’s the ONLY way to grow your money. And it’s best if you can take that amount and put it into an investment with a really great ROI.
I recently heard a great story. A grandmother gave her grandson a dollar, and the grandson wanted to go and spend it all right away. The grandmother told him to only spend 70 cents and to save 30 cents. Her grandson wasn’t happy with this, so she took him on a journey to the poorest section of town. She had him observe how they lived… how their homes were run down and there was trash around, and the people seemed depressed. She told him that they always spent all of every dollar they got. Then she took him to the most affluent section of town and showed him how all of the homes were beautiful, the lawns were trimmed, and people seemed happy. She told him that these people only spent 70 cents of every dollar. She then said to him, “How would you prefer to live?” The little boy happily put 30 cents in his piggy bank and spent the other 70 cents.
He learned the habit of saving at a young age.
Have you made a commitment to saving?
