Storms
It stormed today in Phoenix. Rain is highly unusual here but when it rains, everyone knows it! I was in a class today, and just as our lunch hour started, so did the rain. I sat outside under an awning so I could be close to it. It’s so nice to smell the wetness and feel the cool prickles on my skin as it splashed in to my small, protected area.
Because I was in class through most of it, I didn’t realize it had hailed until I started seeing and hearing weather reports. In fact, there was quite a bit of damage from that hail. And yet, people in Phoenix are rejoicing, because rain is a phenomenon here. Read more…
Significance
A friend of mine sent me this video. It’s worth watching – will take all of 4 minutes out of your time, but will alter the way you look at things forever: http://www.flixxy.com/hubble-ultra-deep-field-3d.htm
After watching it, I responded to my friend: Read more…
Treasure the moments
It’s October already! Where did the month of September go? It seemed to fly by. Has anyone else noticed how time seems to go more quickly these days? Or is that just a sign that I’ve been around the sun a bunch of times? Read more…
New Developments
Over the past week, we have taken the opportunities presented to us to be teaching in two new venues come next month. This is very exciting for us, as we are seeing a whole new dimension to Wholistic Prosperity with these new classes.
Although we will still be presenting our current material, we will also be adding a number of classes and workshops on earth-based spirituality and some of the more esoteric applications of applied will and focus. We are confident that even more creative doors will be opening for us as a result of these liaisons. Read more…
New Story, New Life
New Story, New Life is the tile of the new book I am working on. I am very excited about it! It’s about half done and I am releasing it in sections as a series of e-books.
Each part is the story of another client whose life is changed after coming to me for coaching. Each of these clients are composites of people I have worked with, and I chose to write the stories this way so people could get the most mileage out of each story. I am sure that many folks can apply some of the methodologies I describe in the sessions to their own lives for amazing results. Read more…
How’s your 3 year old?
The other day, I met Michelle Rigg, a woman who has devised an incredible way of understanding all of those conflicting emotions, thoughts, and feelings that we have going on inside of us. She claims that we have basically four people inside of us – a 3 year old, a 7 year old, a 13 year old, and a wise adult. Each of the first three can be healthy or wounded. Read more…
Change Your Perspective
Every once in awhile, it’s a good idea to reassess your situation and look at it from other perspectives. Albert Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” So if you have a problem that you can’t find a solution for, you need to change your perspective, or in other words move to a different, usually higher level of consciousness. Speaking!
On Friday, I had two speaking engagements. The first one was to Michael Bernoff’s Core Strength Leadership team. I’ve been a member of this team since October 2009, and I really love being a part of it. We have monthly conference calls, and monthly meetings for those who are local to Scottsdale. In addition, we get to help out at the Core Strength Experience twice a year. Everyone in the group is really committed to growth and improvement. Therefore, I chose to present a talk on Connecting with your Personal Power. Read more…
Legacy
Today at my 6 Degrees of Leadership meeting, the facilitator asked me what I hoped to leave as a legacy when it is my time to go.
I smiled. It’s something I have often thought about, so it was easy to answer. Easier to answer than to carry out, I fear.
I feel that my legacy will be some sort of contribution to sustainable living and community. I also feel that I will play a role in changing consciousness, which will be realized through motivational speaking and writing books. I feel that I am already doing both, but on a small, small scale. I really need to think much bigger if I am to make my mark on the world. Read more…
